Artist, Dee Etzwiler, created this Narrative Collage in collaboration with Southern Oregon University (SOU). This piece, titled Raider Way, visually represents SOU’s history, its core values and its ‘sense of place.' Some symbolism and imagery incorporated into this abstract work include a figure-ground campus map, historic photos, landscape images, and call numbers from SOU's Hannon Library. This Narrative Collage was digitally developed, commercially printed on archival paper and framed (framed dimensions: 37” H x 46.5” W). It is now installed in the residence of Southern Oregon University’s president.
