FORMATS & APPLICATIONS
a+a Studio artist, Dee Etzwiler, uses a sophisticated digital program to develop her artwork which gives her much depth and control during her design process. It also allows for a range of installation options. Once a work of art has been completed in the design phase, Dee partners with the finest commercial printers who take her (digital) design and fabricate it onto a choice of high quality printing substrates. Images can be printed large or small, such as stunning art installations or limited edition prints. The selection of exceptional printing substrates can be organized into two groups: RIGID and FLEXIBLE. Substrate examples include:
RIGID substrates: metal panels, acrylic panels, wood, corrugated cardboard, and more
FLEXIBLE substrates: fine art paper, interior and exterior wall wraps, fabrics, canvas, and more
Dee can create both 2-D and 3-D art installations — with sizes ranging from small to very large. 2-D works of art may be comprised of one printed substrate or — for larger, mural-size installations — Dee’s art can be printed on a number substrates and abutted on the same plane. 3-D installations are produced when a work of art is printed on multiple substrates and adjoined in different planes.
