ARTSPARK
a+a Studio was commissioned by the Arts and Business Alliance of Eugene to create a Narrative Collage that celebrates a successful arts program, ArtSpark Eugene, in the 4J School District in Eugene, Oregon. To celebrate ArtSpark, our Narrative Collage includes several images of school children, a map of the 4J school region with 20 ArtSpark logos (flowers) that highlight the location of each 4J elementary school, and a small portion of a school mural that was painted by children. In addition to other symbolic imagery in this Narrative Collage, artist Dee Etzwiler incorporated playful lines and brush strokes to offer a youthful look to the piece. This artwork was printed on fine art paper using pigment inks and measure 20” x 16” (24” x 20” framed).
